We are at late week 9 in the bloom cycle for these two mari plants. Unofficially blooming under a Pro Grow X5-600 LED grow light, from Hydroponics Hut for the last few weeks.
We are going to begin brand new grow journal (from late veg into harvest) with the Pro Grow X5-600, just as soon as the Eldorado from Nirvana Seeds, which is also in late week 9 bloom is harvested.
Eldorado has many Sativa tendencies, one of which being a longer bloom or budding cycle. The Afghan Kush being harvested at week 9 is listed as a 8-10 week strain were as the Eldorado has a 10-12 week budding cycle.
Interestingly thePro Grow X5-600 LED grow light has an “acceleration chip” feature, it really kicked things up on the Afghan, though she was still pumping out white hairs (pistils) on the highest colas, we had detected milky trichomes by late week 7 and ambers by start of week 9.
Though I have no scientific method employed here, and no control, but from simple almanac records of past grows, I can say this looks to be the earliest harvested Eldorado if all goes according to current growth patterns, at the start of week 10 (by early next week).
I can however, speak as to the output of Hydroponics Hut’s newest winner LED grow light – The Pro Grow X5-600, this is a crazy, intense LED grow light with coverage nearing 25 square feet!
Check back next week!!!
