This installment finds the plants at week 4 of bloom under the Pro Grow 750 LED grow light from Hydroponics Hut.
The past 3 weeks have seen the plants filling in, as stretching has stopped and the buds are swelling, weighing the branches down.
At just under the half way point of bloom, the Kaya Gold has been the lowest maintenance plant of the bunch. A solid grower & bloomer. Kaya is growth pattern is the most compact of the plants, her unique fruity/floral aroma is a very welcome addition to the often dank & skunky garden.
This is an offspring of a female Critical+Sensi Star crossed with Jock Horror pollen. The result thus far is a monster… Leaning strongly towards her Sativa heritage with long thin leaves & lanky branches. Budding is a resemblance of the dense colas synonymous with Critical+Sensi Star as well as foxtail buds seen on Jock Horror.
The oldest strain in the garden is an old cutting from Nirvana Seed’s Jock Horror. Jock is a three-way hybrid of Northern Light, Skunk and Haze. Jock Horror tend to finish flowering in 9-11 weeks, notably earlier than the original Jack Herer strain. I’ve harvested this particular phenotype in as early as 56 days… and the cost of these Jock seeds won’t break the bank.
