Sorry for the lag on this update everyone… Life happened.
As the test grow under the pro grow 750 LED grow light began to approach the finish line, the first to be harvested was the Jock Horror.
Two key mistakes I made, #1 being I underestimated the intensity of the lamp & should have gone with 5 gallon pots over the 3 gallon, and #2 Because I had the smaller pots, I cut the nutrients a bit too early at just over the 7 week point.
Though the leaves really yellowed when we kick on the bloom accelerator, the bud development thrived and didn’t look to suffer much…
The Jock totaled in at about 5 and a half ounces of really prime buds. This will probably be the last tun for this line of Jock cuttings as the mother in nearly 4 years old and we are starting to see degradation in the phenotype.
Our in-house hybrid the Critical+SensiStar x Jock horror was a part of fun experiment, Though a bit too lanky for indoor gardens such as mine, it produces copious amounts of dense, heavy buds, and it would make for a fantastic greenhouse variety.
This beautiful hybrid delivered just over 7 ounces of AMAZING trichome coated buds, many with lavender & pink tinges…
The final plant to be harvested was the Kaya gold, We let her run an additional 2 weeks and harvested at about the 11th week of bloom. Kaya’s normally harvest early, but this particular one keep pushing out white pistils… So, we let her run with it! Much to my surprise, she yielded the most total.
The spectra on the Pro Grow 750 LED LED grow light really accentuates the purpling & autumn-like colors of strains like Kaya Gold, And the kaya’s amazing fruit loops on steroids aromas are really something to behold!
Kaya gold didn’t appear to be the biggest plant, but letting it run the additional two weeks I think really paid off.
In closing, I can’t say enough good things about Hydroponics Hut’s big gun Pro Grow 750 LED grow light…
